Components of the XTrack system

The full XTrack system contains elements mounted directly on the vehicle and elements that co-form a workstation located in our premises.

The vehicle equipment consists of:

• GPS Tracking Device
• GPRS Modem*
• driver's pendent

The workstation equipment includes:

• data reader
• XTrack Analizer software package

*GPRS modem is required only for the on-line option of the XTrack system

GPS Tracking Device

The main element of the XTrack system is a microprocessor recording device with a GPS module. The device is permanently fixed inside a vehicle. It has got a number of protection devices which record any attempts to disrupt its operating (e.g. cutting off/disconnecting the aerial, disconnection of power supply, opening the casing, attempts to destroy it by means of high voltage). XTrack tracking modules are equipped with non-volatile internal memory, which allows you to save kilometrage routes for a distance of 12500km at points density of  500m. Data recorded by the device are grouped in specific events such as drives, stops, deployment of additional equipment, etc. This unique functionality provides accurate registration of time and place of beginning and end of the event.

For example, registration of driving every 200 meters and during a stop at 1 minute intervals, the position of the vehicle is saved with the full accuracy of the GPS system, and the duration of the event with accuracy of 1 second! This is significant progress in relation to the location of the recording system at a specified time. Density recording is independently configurable for each type of event and may be subject to both distance and on time.

The way data is transmitted depends on the system configuration. Ability to work both off-line and on-line makes it possible for the client to choose the best way of transmitting data concerning every vehicle.

The recorder in a standard configuration enables connection of a modem for GPRS data transmission. The client has a chance to sign an agreement for telemetric services with any GSM operator. When using own server, the client does not have to pay any additional fees.

The XTrack recorder has a number of analogue, logic and digital inputs. The inputs make it possible to record data from such devices as: all kinds of probes and fuel flow-meters, temperature and pressure sensors, bar code scanners, RFID readers, weighting systems, or cash registers, etc.

Even in the case of the standard version it is possible to connect various sensors, e.g.: sensors of starting individual devices of the structure, opening the cargo space, temperature sensors, hydraulic or pneumatic system pressure sensors, mass sensor, engine-speed sensor, axis load sensor or other.
