Landkom International

Landkom International is one of the biggest investors in the agricultural trade in eastern Europe. The company, which is listed on London stock exchange owns more than 100 000  ha of arable land in Ukraine and its stocks are growing quickly.

In March 2007 negotiations with representatives of Landkom Int. concerning complex implementation of the XTrack system in the company began. Almost one year of tests (4 sets), talks concerning the scope of operation and negotiations concerning the terms and conditions finally lead to signing a contract for system implementation. Among basic requirements of the client we can find:

• full integration of the XTrack system with map data concerning land cultivated by Landkom
• control of abuses committed by drivers and equipment operators, and in particular:

• elimination of demurrages / obtaining maximum efficiency,
• eliminating cases of work outside client's fields,
• control over fuel consumption / elimination of theft,

• providing service in Ukraine (in the Lvov area),
• designing reports which would enable accounting drivers for their work.

Training ending the first stage of implementation took place on 3rd July 2008. The stage included installation of devices in combines and transport trucks (together app. 50 units). Devices are being installed in another 50 units (tractors, cars and lorries) and are supposed to end in the first half of August.
